So at 1:24 pm today I walked out of work never to return--officially retired!!!

I've been the Caregiver Manager at a home care agency in Chicago for 12 1/2 years (I started in September 2009, the same month I started watching Supernatural as it aired live for season 5.)

About 50% of my SPN fic is under borgmama1of5 at AO3, and now I have motivation to post the other half there...

I was in Oregon with my entire family--3 daughters, 3 sons-in-law, 5 granddaughters--for the first Christmas together in 5 years!!!

I can’t say exactly when it happened, but over the last few years my brain has made it nearly impossible to just sit back and enjoy a movie or story.
